Transmigration

On Friday, December 30, 1977, I began an auto trip to the South from Upper Nyack, New York -- arriving at my destination of Deerfield Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, January 1, 1978. I had predetermined that I would take photographs at my departure, at intervals of every one hundred miles during the trip, and at my arrival -- one photograph of the instrument panel and one of the landscape in each case. This was done.
